Founder & CEO - Rita P Singh
Rita Singh is an entrepreneur, investor, and community leader based in Chicago. Her brand, SR, houses a variety of her own companies that fall under the domains of IT consulting, real estate, and entertainment. However, her main passion and purpose is to give back to our community. For our Indian community, dance has been one of the most prominent and loved forms of art. It brings much joy and pleasure to our hearts, whether it be watching our children express themselves through dance, or ourselves. Rita is a firm believer that dance is not only a great form of exercise for the physical body, but also an incredible one for the mind. Choreographer - Elizar Rodrigues
Elizar Rodrigues is a versatile, cinematic and artistic Bollywood choreographer. His dance routines and theme based performances are often densely woven, power packed, memorable and sheer poetry for viewing. Since 2001, he has traveled to perform on Bollywood International World Tours all over the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and Asia with Bollywood superstars like Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Prabhu Deva, Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and many more. Elizar has been a Chief Assistant Choreographer and performer at major Bollywood award ceremonies such as Filmfare Awards, Femina Miss India, Star Screen Awards, and Bollywood Awards to name a few. Since 2006, he has been training professionals and students globally, and will now be sharing his expertise, unique skills, and techniques with the students of S R Dance Academy.
Choreographer - Shirley Rodrigues
Shirley Rodrigues is a passionate, enthusiastic and versatile dance choreographer from Bollywood and specializes in Bolly-hop, semi-classical, Indian folk, fusion, and ballroom dance. She is a live wire during her stage or motion picture camera performances. Her natural grace and style adds flair, bounce, and originality to her artistic persona and choreography. Her dedication, determination and confidence was evident from a very early age, which led her to being selected to perform on international world tours. In a short span of time, she had done more than 7 international world tours which covered the US, Canada, UK, Europe, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia, UAE, with renowned Bollywood super stars and artists like Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Amir Khan, Preeti Zinta, Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, and many more. Shirley has also worked with Ace Bollywood choreographers like Farah Khan, Ganesh Hedge, Remo D’Souza, Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis, Bosco-Caesar. Shirley has truly evolved in her artistic skills and choreography and is now teaching and training professionals and students at S R Dance Academy.
